THANK YOU
This year the Florissant Grange was able
to distribute 10 Christmas meal and toy boxes to 10 Teller County Families who needed help. With donations
from the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Florissant Fire Department and food donated
to our Grange community cupboard, Grange members and friends came together to put the boxes together and
deliver them before Christmas. Thank you to Mike Ulrich, the Higgins Family, Ed & Jeanette Zupancic, Sue
Zaba and Renee & Alan Caldwell.
NEEDED:
If you have a special skill “from the
past” and would like to demonstrate at Heritage Day in July, please contact Renee at 748-0358.
NEWS:
The “OLD
SCHOOL HOUSE” paint and renovation fund is
growing thanks to donations from our members and friends. Please feel free to make a contribution. Your
contributions can be tax deductible through the PICK Foundation (People Improving Communities and Kids), a
State Grange 4013C organization. Just ask any Grange member for the tax deduction form and we will be happy
to get that to you for your generous donation. If you are writing a check, please make your check payable to
PICK and write ‘Florissant Grange’ in the notes area. All donations made to the Florissant Grange through
PICK go directly to your Florissant Grange. Thank you in advance for helping us raise the necessary funds to
renovate the Old School House, Grange Hall.
The Florissant Grange still needs your canned food donations for our small but well used
Food Cupboard. Our
Food Cupboard is available for anyone who needs extra in order to make it though the month or week. We also
use it at Thanksgiving and Christmas for our Dinner/Food boxes for families in need. If you know of some one
who can use help, please let us know. 748-0358
